ISA Members Guests and ISA Committee Members who attended the ATEX Directive presentation in Athlone on Monday the 4th., February 2002

Tony Mahon presenting a token of appreciation on behalf of ISA Ireland Section to Mr. Ken Bowdell Applications Manager Technical Services Group, Measurement Technology Limited. Ken presented a very interesting paper on the new EEC legislation called ATEX Directives which comes into effect on the 30th June 2003. The presentation which examined in great detail, both the Equipment Directive 100A and the Workplace Directive 137 generated a lot of audience participation in both Athlone on the 4th of February and Limerick on the 5th February. It became very clear to all attendees that there was a lot of work to be done by all, to ensure that companies fully complied with ATEX.
